Why We Started Delight Farms
One of the most pressing issues in today’s world is the rapid decline in human health — and one of the core reasons lies in the food we consume. With the rise of lifestyle-related diseases, weakened immunity, and chronic fatigue, it’s clear that modern food systems are failing us.
But what went wrong?
The answer lies in how our food is grown, processed, and consumed today. Over the last few decades, several key factors have led to a drastic reduction in the nutritional value of our food:
• Soil Degradation: The quality of soil has deteriorated significantly due to the depletion of organic matter. Nutrient-deficient soil cannot produce nutrient-rich crops. As a result, the food we eat today is far less nourishing than it was 50–60 years ago.
• Excessive Use of Pesticides: Unlike Western countries, India lacks stringent regulations on pesticide residue. This leads to harmful chemical deposits on our food, which pose serious health risks over time.
• Overprocessing: Modern food processing involves high temperatures, large machines, and heavy industrialization — all of which destroy vital nutrients and often produce harmful compounds.
• Preserved and Packaged Foods: Our ancestors consumed fresh, seasonal food as a way of life. Today, we rely heavily on processed and packaged products that are often weeks or months old and preserved using synthetic chemicals — compromising both nutrition and health.
Our Mission: Making India Healthy Again
We are a group of individuals who graduated from the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad and held leadership positions in reputed organizations such as Mahindra and the Aditya Birla Group. Driven by our shared passion for food, agriculture, and public health, we made a life-changing decision — to leave our well-paying jobs and address one of India’s most urgent needs: restoring the purity of our food.
That’s how Delight Farms was born.
We are not just building another food brand — we are on a mission to revolutionize the way food is sourced, processed, and delivered. Our goal is to reintroduce traditional Indian food wisdom into modern life in a way that is honest, sustainable, and accessible.
What We Stand For
At Delight Farms, we’ve started with two simple yet powerful principles:
